About the Artist
Nova Noelle is a jovial and tenacious self-taught artist residing in Portland, Oregon. They were born with a congenital condition called Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS) that has vastly affected the way they are able to connect with the world around them.
Cartoons, music, and humor were inspiration, as well as ways to cope with the anxiety associated with the undiagnosed chronic pain a child didn't understand: such as Gorillaz, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, The Simpsons, Garfield, SpongeBob Squarepants, and many others.
Today, they enjoy creating art through multiple mediums: such as print making, creating trinkets, digital art, cartooning, and painting. Outside of art, they enjoy traveling, going to shows, and hanging out with their two dogs while navigating their health.
The message of Witch Bitch Coven is simple: to freely express the mundane and frustrating parts of our daily lives with humor, grace, and a little bit of sass. Life is short, why take things too seriously?
